Tris began his career in 2017, whilst on placement as an assistant engineer at Dean Street Studios (formerly Good Earth Studios). There he developed his recording skills whilst assisting on everything from vocal and voiceover sessions, to tracking horns, strings and full-band album projects.
On completing his placement he left London to finish his degree, during which he specialised in the recording technologies and techniques champoined by the famous soul recording houses of the 60s, including Stax, Muscle Shoals and Motown.
In 2019 Tris moved back to London and eventually found his way onto the roster at Miloco, going on to spend the next year gaining experience working across the many industry leading studios on Miloco's books.
When the opportunity came about to take up residency as an in-house assistant at Livingston Studios, it was a natural fit for Tris, and he quickly got stuck in learning the studio's 72 Channel SSL 4000G console. Since then he's worked alongside some world-class engineers and producers, and has been involved in projects for Royal Blood, Loyle Carner, Ezra Collective, James Bay, Maisie Peters and Kawala to name a few.
