Welcome to H.O.M.E. Studios.

Located in the heart of Hamburg, H.O.M.E. Studios is one of the most advanced recording studios in Germany.

The Studio Complex contains two world class recording facilities.

Studio 1 boasts a Roger Quested designed Control Room with a 80 channel SSL 9080J Series console.

Studio 2 is equipped with an 24 channel SSL Duality SE and the main playground for producer and owner of H.O.M.E. Studios Franz Plasa.

Studio 1 is our mixing heaven, boasting an impressive collection of outboard equipment, consisting of both industry standards by the likes of NEVE, GML, LEXICON, NEUMANN, UREI and industry treasures (Neumann U473, Ursa Major Space Station, AMS RMX16, etc.) to name a few.

Studio 2 has a very spacious Control Room, which caters for unlimited creative freedom for both bands and songwriters, turning the Control Room into more of a living room where you can capture those necessary moments on a record.

Both studios have their adjoining live rooms connected with big glass windows. Studio 1 can cater for large recording setups with a 45m² Live Room and two booths (13m² & 15m²). All of them connected via glass doors and windows.

Studio 2 has 1 large Live Room measuring 45m².

With two excellent studios under one roof we can offer the best of both worlds. Studio 1 offering a world class analogue console with an impressive collection of outboard equipment and Studio 2 offering a hybrid setup for speed and flexibility, an analogue console and an exceptional DAW controller.

In addition to these two facilities we also have two production suites, an expansive recreation and lounge area and a reception area.

The excellent recording environment and its warm and homey atmosphere has resulted in our ever-increasing list of satisfied clients.
