Studio 2 Is an independent immersive mixing and monitoring suite and when used in conjunction with Octagon becomes is a high powered control room. Fitted with some of the most prestigious and celebrated classic and modern outboard equipment and high-end monitoring.
Studio 2 is our fully equipped production room, complete with 24 channels of preamps such as a 500 series rack including pairs of CAPI, API, BAE, 12 SSL channels, Avalon and Telefunken V 72s & 77s.
In thoughtful selection of powerful outboard processing including Teletronix LA2A, Pultec EQH-2, Valley People 610 & SPL 9842 to name a few.
Wired for complete connectivity with the adjacent Studio 1 and Studio 3, this is a high-powered control room for larger live-tracking and more elaborate productions. We run desk-less for most of our sessions (Desk available upon request) running through the UAD console, set up to be versatile and adaptable to any session and providing the best in low latency monitoring.
This room also has bespoke bass traps tailored to the rooms modes and acoustic panels to give a highly uncoloured sound in the mix position.
Finished with Genelec 1031a's and Yamaha NS10 monitors
