Serendip is a project led by Arnaud Guichard. Their first album 'The Tale' is inspired by the ancient Persian tale "The Three Princes of Serendip" by Amir Khusrau, and evolves around eight compositions that melodically narrate impressions of the tale, acoustically exploring the meaning of the word 'serendipity' (unexpected fortunate discovery) through jazz musical language.

Tiger Beer teamed up with VICE magazine to put together this series of short documentaries discovering interesting hidden cultural gems such as the magnifcent Lightship95 recording studio in the Thames Docklands. In this video they take a film crew down to the ship to meet owner and studio creator Ben Phillips, who was recording Mazes at the time.
Slaves To Gravity and Pitchshifter drummer Jason Bowld went down to Lightship95 with his very tasty Mapex Meridian to thrash it out in front of a camera to basically testify to the brilliance of this kit. The promotional video is now wowing viewers on YouTube - you can check it out here too.
