Voted the best music venue in the world, The O2 is one of London's key attractions. The main O2 Arena constantly attracts the biggest names in music, however there is also the smaller indigo2, a VUE cinema complex and countless bars and restaurants. 

National Maritime Museum

One of the largest museums of its kind in the world, The National Maritime museum forms part of the Greenwich World Heritage site. It can be reached by boat, or from the Greenwich foot tunnel at the south tip of the Isle of Dogs. 

Royal Greenwich Observatory

The Royal Observatory marks the point where the Prime Meridian line is sourced, giving Greenwich the world-famous title of 'The Home of Time'. Today there is a museum of astronomical and navigational tools. It is sat on a hill in Greenwich Park, and provides one of the best views of London.

Canary Wharf Shopping

Trinity Buoy Wharf

Trinity Buoy Wharf itself is a hub of cultural and artistic activities. Many artists live and work down here, and there are sometimes exhibitions on, including the Longplayer Installation: an ever-evolving musical composition which began in 2000 and will last an entire millenia. It is based in the lighthouse onland (pictured).

The Crystal

The Crystal opened in 2012 and is home to the world's largest exhibition on the future of cities, the world's most sustainable events venue, and office space for global engineering powerhouse Siemens. Award winning café overlooks Royal Victoria Dock and serves delicious home-made salads from local suppliers, bistro-style sandwiches, cakes baked on-site and cooked food. The menu changes daily.

Emirates Air Line

Cable Car accross with amazing views of the Thames and of the Lightship! Emirates Air Line crosses the River Thames between Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks, just five minutes from the O2 by North Greenwich Tube station. Cabins arrive every 30 seconds and flights are approximately 10 minutes each way. Oyster cards accepted.

The Gun

A highly recommendable pub looking over the river by East India dock. The Gun also comprises an al fresco bar and restaurant called A Grehla which is very popular in the summer for barbecue season. 

The Lord Nelson

If you fancy a stroll down to the southern tip of the Isle of Dogs, you'll be met by The Lord Nelson. A popular haunt thanks to the efforts taken by the landlords - there's a good selection of beers and wines and some great pub nosh. Also close to the Greenwich foot tunnel so you can get to the Maritime museum easily too! 

Pepper St. Ontiod

One of the Antic pub chain, the Pepper is located on Millwall Inner Dock. There is a cool interior set across two floors (with a games room upstairs).
