Although it feels incredibly remote and rural here to some, we are not far from the main Oban to Fort William road. The drive to Oban takes 25 minutes and the drive to Fort William takes 45 minutes.
You can step off our single track road straight into the wilderness of the Highlands. Glencoe and Ben Nevis are both less than an hour's drive away, while Beinn Sgulaird and Beinn Fhionnlaidh are right on our doorstep.
There are several good places to eat and drink within a short drive and fresh local seafood, venison and beef are available when in season.
Half an hour drive from us you'll find Glen Coe, a stunning glen of volcanic origins, in the Highlands of Scotland. It lies in the north of Argyll, close to the border with Lochaber. Arguably the most historic glen and recently voted the most romantic glen in Scotland. Glencoe is not only perfect for hillwalking and mountaineering, it is also an ideal base from which to explore the Highlands of Scotland.
