A bit about Simon

Simon has a natural aptitude for creating sonically lush recordings. Having contributed this to many alternative, independent and major recording artists’ he has garnered a reputation of consistency in helping achieve artists’ visions whilst maintaining their individuality.

With an appreciation for chaotic and noisy recordings as much as classic depth and sheen, Simon likes to experiment with each artist in finding their sonic palette and capturing unique performances.

 
These skills are bolstered by credits with Daughter, Elton John, Holly Humberstone, Bastille, Grace Carter, Rag n Bone Man, The Vamps, James Smith, Matt Corby, Kanye West and Post Malone, some of which have gone on to achieve Gold and Mulit-Platinum certifications.

His refusal to be pigeonholed by genre has led to an immensely versatile skillset, and is one of the many reasons we're proud to have this Grammy-Nominated engineer/mixer as a Senior member of the Miloco team.

 
Simon is also a leading force behind our adoption of immersive audio formats Dolby Atmos and Sony 360. These formats tear open creative possibilities for artists and we’re proud to be pushing the boundaries of what’s possible to achieve with the technology.
