Operations Manager (Miloco Builds)

Salary: up to £40k DoE
Location: Miloco Studios HQ (Office-Based)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Miloco Builds comprises studio designs, builds and installs for some of the industry’s finest artists and producers. With its acclaimed team of recording studio designers, builders and acousticians, Miloco Builds is an increasingly in demand studio design and construction service, not only in the UK, but around the world.

As Operations Manager, you’ll provide support to the Operations Director, Design Consultants, Project Manager and Project Teams. Your work will ensure the smooth operation of the company’s systems, paperwork and record keeping, and you’ll also assist with managing technical drawings and visualisations for build proposals and ongoing projects. For this reason, it’s essential that you have some experience using programs such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks or similar, and have previous experience within the fields of construction and/or architecture. The successful candidate will be hungry to develop their skills further in this area, supported by a passion for/interest in music and recording studios.

Role & Responsibilities

  • – Tracking jobs, completing progress reports, and communicating with site and wider Miloco teams when necessary.
  • – Issuing and updating programs using the Gant format
  • – Collating project documents and issuing O&M manuals
  • – Reviewing project documentation to ensure a full understanding of all requirements and timescales.
  • – Preparing drawings from mark ups and sketches. Drawing studio layouts from plans and schematic drawings.
  • – Producing mock-ups/visualisations of new studio builds
  • – Making changes to existing designs

Key Skills: 

  • – Demonstrable experience using Vectorworks, Revit, AutoCAD ,Sketchup or an equivalent, ideally with a working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
  • – Prior experience working within Architecture and/or the construction industry essential
  • – Ability to convert written and verbal information into technical drawings
  • – Analytical and computer literate, self-motivated enthusiastic and commercially aware – with an acute attention to quality and detail

Producer/Engineer Manager (Miloco Management)

Salary: £negotiable
Location: Miloco Studios HQ, Bermondsey, London
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Our Miloco Management division is home to our award-winning producers, mixers and engineers, and seeks to develop the careers of some exciting and talented producers who’ve risen through the ranks at Miloco and beyond. With an already established roster of engineers, the successful candidate will help us further develop this new area of our business.

The ideal candidate would have experience in artist/producer management or live management, and an existing network of contacts that will assist them in pushing the division forward.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • – Managing client diaries
  • – Working closely with the bookings team and legal to manage bookings, contracts and agreements
  • – Updating clients’ CVs, managing showreels and streamlining portfolios
  • – Processing client invoices and payments, and reporting to clients
  • – Managing social media channel, updating new releases, news, creating content and updating the management website
  • – Organising external meetings with Record Labels/Artist Management, and actively looking for work for clients
  • – Ad-hoc duties as and when required

Photographer/Videographer

Salary: £20 – £30k DoE
Location: Miloco Studios HQ, Bermondsey, London
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Working within our centralised marketing department, you will be responsible for all video and photography content across the business, supporting each of the divisions in their promotional activity. Projects will be varied, from product and property-style photography to creating engaging short and long-form video content. With each, you will be responsible for creative planning, direction and editing.

The ideal candidate will be a prolific content creator, have previous commercial experience in both photography and videography, be highly skilled across the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and have a passion for, or previous experience working within the Music Industry.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • – Planning, shooting and editing photography and video content according to divisional priorities/promotional campaigns
  • – Transforming briefs and concepts into first-rate visual content that successfully communicates products to existing and new audiences
  • – Producing content for social media, and adapting content for various platforms and purposes
  • – Ensuring that content is prepared and delivered according to promotional timelines
  • – Bringing forward new ideas for content creation
  • – Supporting the wider marketing function as and when required

Skills & Experience:

  • – Proven experience producing engaging photo and video content within a commercial setting
  • – Highly proficient in Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and After Effects essential)
  • – Highly creative, with an acute eye for detail
  • – Excellent time management and communication skills

Head of Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and NFTs

As Head of Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and NFTs, your responsibilities will include helping to integrate Blockchain into the company’s infrastructure, managing Miloco’s Cryptocurrency portfolio, and championing innovation within the blockchain space.

The successful candidate will be ambitious and have an eye for opportunity, and have demonstrable experience and knowledge of Blockchain and Cryptocurrency markets.
