Optimum Mastering is a custom designed music mastering studio in Bristol, UK, and is home to celebrated mastering engineers Shawn Joseph and Jack Adams. The room was designed by Roger D’arcy (Recording Architecture), one of the most prolific studio architects in the world. Roger has also designed a revolutionary ergonomic master console that is the centrepiece of this beautiful space.
Optimum’s services include digital mastering, vinyl cutting, digital editing and restoration, all performed by engineers with experience at the highest level.
Monitoring is supplied by PMC, industry leaders in professional speaker technology, whilst the latest Sadie 6 is the choice of workstation, capable of effortlessly handling hi resolution digital audio. Analogue and digital outboard processing is by Prism Maselec & TC Electronics System 6000, while vinyl is cut on a lovingly restored Neumann VMS 70 lathe, originally from Nashville.
