Last night was the annual Music Producers Guild Awards at the Cafe de Paris in Central London, and we are pleased to announce that three of our longterm clients won coveted prizes at the ceremony.
Alan Moulder, who with Flood and Miloco runs the Assault & Battery Studio complex in North-West London, won Mix Engineer Of The Year for his recent work with The Killers, Richard Hawley, A Silent Film, 2:54, Fixers, Chairlift and The Big Pink which he mixed in Assault & Battery 1.
Charlie Hugall, who is represented by Gotham Producers, prevailed in the Breakthrough Engineer Of The Year category. Charlie has worked regularly in Assault & Battery 1, Sofa Sound and The Pool on a number of artists including Lucy Rose, Swim Deep, Mahalia and Dog Is Dead.
A huge congratulations to Paul Epworth who scooped his second Producer Of The Year gong at the MPGs to add to his incredible collection of awards from across the music world. Paul has worked with Miloco for many years producing artists and bands such as Florence and the Machine, Bloc Party, Friendly Fires, Chapel Club and more.
So, hats off to all the deserved winners on another great night celebrating the work of the UK recording industry. You can view a list of all the winners at the MPG Awards 2013 here.
