New Gear Upgrades at The Square – Mic Pre’s / EQs, Compressors and Microphones

Here’s an update on some new equipment over at The Square studio in Hoxton, East London. We have rearranged all of our outboard racks moving the reverbs to another rack and filling our main racks with lots of great new gear…

New mic pre’s and EQs include:

• API 3124 4 channel Mic Pre
• 4 x Calrec PQ 1161 Mic Pre’s & EQs
• 2 x Calrec 1061 Mic PRe’s & EQs
• Cartec EQP-1A EQ
• GML 8302 2 channel Mic Pre

New compressors include:

• Empirical Labs Compressor
• Another Urei 1176
• Alan Smart C2 Stereo Compressor

We have also purchased two new microphones:

• Neumann U47 FET
• Neumann KM56 Valve Mic
