5,000 sq ft New York complex The End is in the heart of Greenpoint, one of Brooklyn’s best artistic areas. The unique facility is designed to serve recording, writing, rehearsal and even photo/video shoots.
The control room showcases a modified MTA 980 console with recording via a powerful Pro Tools|HD 4 system with all the UAD and Waves plugins or two-inch tape for the analogue heads. A clever diffusor at the rear of the studio has been created with a library of books so you can swot up in-between takes.
The live room through the window features a Baldwin baby grand, a great selection of instruments, pedals, amps and not one but three drumkits including a rather lovely vintage 67 Ludwig kit.
To top that off, if you ever need a break from the hard work, head up to the roof where there is a very cool upper deck which features some of the best views over the area of Transmitter Park, the New York City skyline and the East River.
