In December Sentric Music Publishing offered the chance to win a two-day recording session with us as part of their Fund Your Future campaign. Deafkid were chosen as the winners of the two days studio time, so Sentric gave the guys a shout to ask them about their time in the studio and what is next for Deafkid.

Deafkid consist of musicians and producers Christopher Lockington and Florian Sauvaire. The sound is a blend of the electronica, experimental and pop genres. Prior to forming Deafkid, Chris and Flo met whilst working with experimental hip-hop artist Ghostpoet.

The guys chose to spend their two days of free studio time in 123 Studios in Peckham. Sentric popped along to hear what they had to say about working together, recording and the value of free studio time when finances are tight.
