On January 23, the31st NAMM TEC Awards were held in Anaheim California. An awards ceremony dedicated to celebrating the technical and creative achievements of artists, producers, studios, and manufacturers, there are 31 different categories honouring the best in pro audio and sound production.
We were very excited to learn that Paul Epworth‘s The Church Studios was nominated alongside Walter-Storyk Design Group (WSDG) and Miloco Services in the Studio Design Project category. They were nominated alongside various other studios and design companies from around the world, including another WSDG project, Dream Asylum in Florida, USA.
WSDG and The Church came together with Miloco Services to coordinate the project, introducing a writing room, restructuring the studios and eliminating sound leakage and upgrading the monitoring. A whole new interior was designed with a white colour palette that would nicely offset the sophisticated lighting system, which allows the lighting to be customised to suit any mood, controlled by a smartphone app. Read more about the project on the WSDG website here.
Congratulations to Paul and the teams at WSDG, The Church and Miloco Services!
