The leafy town of Cambridge is not exactly where you’d expect to find raw urban talent, but emcee Big Heath is not exactly what you’d expect. Releasing his debut EP Lonely in 2018 Heath, who began rapping to help him overcome a speech impediment, has since released a second EP and a number of singles, many clocking up close to or over a million streams to date.
Today Big Heath is back with his first single of 2020, ‘Role Models’, released on Polydor / Universal Music. Demonstrating his lyrical ability with an incredibly rapid-fire flow, Big Heath goes in hard on ‘Role Models’ and accompanied by production from acclaimed producer Sky Adams.
Miloco’s Jake Gordon, undoubtedly one of the UK’s most sought after engineers for urban music engineered the track. In the past Jake has lent his talent to projects from Skepta to Dizzee Rascal, Burna Boy, J Hus and many more.
