Christian thrash metal band from San Diego, who in a flash of cheery inspiration branded themselves by the name of William Faulkner’s morbid novel. As I Lay Dying make dark, dark tunes. Popular ones too – in 2006 they were awarded MTV2’s ‘Ultimate Metal God’ award.
As I Lay Dying were in The Engine Room and Musikbox in April and May 2007, with producer Colin Richardson and engineer Matt Hyde.
