The Deep Blue

Pushing the boundaries of guitar pop, the ex-Ash guitar chick returns with this scintillating display of experimental indie. There are elements of mid-nineties Ash, but the mixture of unique chord and time structures moulds a powerful yet catchy sound which testifies to Charlotte’s sharp song-writing talent. Charlotte Hatherley was in the The Engine Room and The Toyshop with producer Ben Hillier during 2006. The Deep Blue was mixed in the Engine Room Studios.
