Since Martin opened Kensaltown Studios in January 2004 it has been central to the London recording scene. The studio’s clients have included James Morrison, KT Tunstall, Travis, Train, Lana Del Rey, Adele, Cee Lo Green, The National, Coldplay, Arcade Fire, Beck, Backstreet Boys, Jason Mraz, Jessie J, Emeli Sande, The Horrors, James Blunt, Rita Ora, Corinne Bailey Rae, Cat Stevens, Westlife, A-ha, Erykah Badu, Mary J Blige, Goldfrapp, Jamie Cullum and many more top artists. The amazing studio spaces have also been used for photo, film and video shoots plus numerous other events.
Kensaltown are now pleased to offer their main room, Studio A, for hire. This is the central room in the Kensaltown complex and boasts a large open plan live / control room and a great sounding drum room. The studio can easily accommodate most kinds of sessions; full bands and larger ensembles such as string sections, horns and even choirs.
Sometimes described as the modern day brill building, the unique and creative atmosphere at Kensaltown has to be experienced. This is a state-of-the-art multi-room complex comprising eight studios located in a fantastic building flooded with light and communal areas and a buzzing communal kitchen, complete with in-house chef.
