Robbed studio makes progress

Miloco would like to advise studio owners to watch out following the 7 October 2014 robbery of The OC Recording Company in Orange County, California.

During the crime, producer Asaf Fulks and a colleague were stripped and tied up as thieves seized $40,000 worth of money and equipment.

“It could have been a lot worse,” said Fulks. “One man tackled me and tied me up, and they stole basically all of Studio B and C.”

The studio will not shut down because of the incident, and will work with its insurance company to replace the stolen equipment. “We really appreciate everyone’s support, and this isn’t going to set us back,” said Fulks. “We’ve been in business for nine years and never had a problem, and we plan to continue being here. This robbery won’t discourage us.”
