Located in Burbank, Eldorado Recording Studios is the first Los Angeles studio on the Miloco roster.
Producer, mixer, and self-confessed terrible surfer Rich Costey runs Eldorado, which over the years has hosted clients such as Brian Eno, Talking Heads, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more recently Rich has worked with artists including Death Cab for Cutie, alt-J, Foster the People, and CHVRCHES amongst others.
Eldorado is a great tracking studio with a control room renowned for its accuracy. Based around a 48-channel SSL XL 9000 K console, mastering-grade full-range PMC monitors, and a great selection of outboard that highlights a vast collection of external mic preamps, EQs, and compressors, this is the perfect LA studio for bands to record in. Software includes Pro Tools 10 and 11, Logic X, Cubase, and Ableton.
On top of this there is a secondary control room, which also connects to the main live room and has its own booth. This houses an impressive collection of synths and keyboards.
