Producers, mixers, and engineers roundup

ProducersMixersandEgineersRoundup.145114We’ve had on-going success at Gotham Producers this year, including Mike Crossey‘s production of The Gaslight Anthem and mixing for Ben Howard, Snow Patrol, Hozier, and Sunset Sons; Charlie Hugall‘s production of Port Isla, Kimberly Anne, and Kwabs; Matt Wiggins’ mixing for Lorde, U2, Professor Green, Naughty Boy, and Foster the People; Pete Hofmann co-producing and mixing Erasure’s album ‘The Violet Flame’ and Willow’s ‘Plastic Heaven’; and Stephen Street’s production of Aline.

The latest additions to the Pieces of 8 Music roster include triple Grammy-winning producer, mixer, and co-writer Steve Dub and producer, mixer, and engineer Bryan Wilson.

Steve brings with him an unrivalled pedigree in electronic music, working extensively with The Chemical Brothers over the years and recently with acts such as Clean Bandit, Ali Love, Jagwar Ma, and Tinie Tempah. Bryan joins the fold on the back of a very successful year, which has included producing and mixing the chart-topping debut album ‘Trading Change’ for folk star Jeremy Loops.

As well as recently working with John Newman and Lianne La Havas on new material, Bryan’s credits include Arthur Beatrice, Frightened Rabbit, Maverick Sabre, and Disclosure. Steve and Bryan join our already accomplished roster that includes Grammy-winning producer, engineer, and mixer Matt Lawrence (Naughty Boy, Mumford & Sons, Adele), as well fast-rising studio talents Mark Allaway and Mo Hausler.

Al Groves and Ben Jackson are the newest producers, mixers, and engineers at Miloco Studios.

Al’s break happened in 2012 when he moved into The Motor Museum, an iconic studio. This is now Al’s base, and allows him to further develop his style and push the envelope of modern production, offering an equally capable production and mix studio.

In his eighth year of professional sound engineering, 2014 has seen Ben continue to refine his craft in many of Miloco’s studios, including working with Bloc Party‘s Kele on his solo album ‘Trick’.
