Behemoth

Arguably Poland’s foremost power in the metal world, Behemoth have been winning the hearts of fans and testing the tolerance of authorities since the early 1990s, with their individual strand of ‘blackened death metal’, which is known to stray into topics such as satanism, occultism and the rest. Consequently, Behemoth have found themselves in hot water with various religious officials during their career.

Over 2 decades Behemoth have unleashed a hatful of fierce records, with the commercial highlight being 1999’s Satanica. In 2009 they returned with their ninth LP, Evangelion, which was tracked in Poland’s Radio Gdansk studio and then brought to Musikbox in May 2009 where it was mixed by the legendary metal/hardcore producer Colin Richardson.
