Despite having spent large chunks of his life in London, Folk guitarist and singer Christie Hennessy feels such patriotism for his home country of Ireland that a large amount of his music revolves around his memories of growing up as a child back home. Born in 1945, he left school aged eleven to pursue his passion for music. He has written songs such as Roll Back The Years and Don’t Forget Your Shovel Before You Get To Work.
In May 2005, Christie Hennessy was mixing in The Engine Room with engineer Phil Brown.
