UK-based recording engineer Ben Loveland started out in Liverpool, first cutting his teeth at Parr Street Studios before working under Al Groves across the city at The Motor Museum. Here he established a contact with Miloco and moved to London, assisting a wide collection of sessions in many of the studios on the roster, eventually taking up the in-house assistant engineer position for The Pool Studio. Sessions included album recording for Florence + the Machine's 'Dance Fever', Jamie T's 'Old Style Radiers', movie soundtrack recording for Disney and Aardman Animation and orchestral recording for composers including Matthew Slater and Chris Roe.
Ben has an approach towards engineering that allows everything to develop and evolve naturally. With a focus on ensemble recording, he's most recently recorded strings for Hana Effron and Talia Rae's single releases.
Over the course of many sessions Ben has worked with a variety of artists, producers and composers including Gregory Porter, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, The 1975, Paul Epworth, Robert Glasper and Walter Mair.
