Recent release from the combine harvester favouring gents includes the 6Music favourite Brittle Sticks. NME have described them thus: ‘Gorgeous four-part harmonies that sound something like a rustic Arcade Fire’, whilst The Observer murmoured ‘A contender for song of the summer, all scrumptious harmonies and bittersweet lyrics.’ Fields were in Miloco recording the 4 From The Village EP with Ewan Pearson producing and Pete Hofmann & Matt Foster engineering in the spring of 2006.
