Be Ready, The debut from Dennis Hopper Choppers, breathes the rich musical influences of its founding member, Ben Nicholls, who was raised on a toothsome diet of Big Bill Broonzy, Johnny Cash, Charlie Feathers, The Cramps, Sonny Burgess and others, while also feasting on the raucous alternative festivals which used to take place in his hometown of Worthing.

Ben Nicholls and his Dennis Hopper Choppers cohorts teamed up with producer Ben Hillier to track Be Ready in The Pool in 2010. The record was also mixed at Miloco.
