This mysterious band from Southend-on-Sea have been bubbling under the surface for a while, but the kettle is boiling vivaciously at the start of the year. Their cryptic sound has had the talents of Depeche Mode and Einsturzende Neubauten producer/engineer Gareth Jones stoking it along the way. Gareth Jones and These New Puritans made ‘Beat Pyramid’ in The Toyshop and The Square in 2007.
