The Pains of Being Pure at Heart turned to Flood (producer) and Alan Moulder (mixer) for their second album, Belong, perhaps to execute that ‘Pumpkins-esque sound which both Flood and Alan can with masterful ease… Miloco engineer Darren Lawson gained a recording engineer credit on the album, which features the single ‘Heart in Your Heartbreak’.
Belong was tracked in Assault & Battery 2 and mixed in Assault & Battery 1.
