Lana Del Rey’s major label debut Born To Die, featuring the epic indie-pop single ‘Video Games’ and its distinctive follow up ‘Born To Die’, was inevitably going to make an international impact when it was finally released at the end of January following six months of building anticipation. Straight away it landed in the top ten in 20 different countries around the world, notably achieving number one status in the UK, Australia, France and Germany, and a number two peak on the Billboard 200, making Born To Die the undoubted runaway commercial success of 2012 so far.
Dan Grech-Marguerat mixed Born To Die in Miloco’s Engine Room towards the end of 2011.
