Australian psychadelic/indie electronic band Jagwar Ma have released their highly anticipated second album, Every Now & Then, today. The follow up to their wildly successful 2013 debut Howlin, Every Now & Then was recorded between Australia, London and France.
In November of 2015, The trio came into Miloco’s Orinoco Complex tracking studio, The Pool, to track drums for most of the 11-track album. Also on hand were producer James Ford, who is credited as co-producer on the record, and Miloco engineer Billy Halliday.
Jagwar Ma’s Jono Ma recruited his long-time friend and Warpaint drummer, Stella Mozgawa, described by Billy as a “total badass”, to play drums on a few of the tracks. Across the sessions they collectively recorded the drums for the vast majority of the album.
