The new single from The Mighty Roars should be sold with a free tube of burn cream. So intense and fiery are the vocals of frontwoman Lara Granqvist and the sheer guitar noise of the track, you’re almost left with third degree burns upon listening. The song continues the band’s frantic “head crushed in a vice” impact of Sonic Youth mixed with The Breeders, driven by chainsaw-like guitars and swallowed in so much feedback it’s like an amp factory has exploded. The Mighty Roars burst with so much adrenaline and feverish excitement, it’s like they manufacture the stuff. The Mighty Roars were in mixing Sellotape and the rest of the album with producer and engineer Chris Sheldon in The Yard during the summer of 2006.
