The veteran Mancunian indie favourites return with the first of two mini-albums set for a 2010 release. The band members uploaded their individual works onto an FTP site where producer Lee Baker grabbed and moulded them into a diverse-sounding record; the eleventh studio album of their career.Lee Baker and engineer Jonathan Shakhovsky mixed The Night Before in The Engine Room in January 2010.
