Teaming up again with the legendary session drummer Steve Reid (Miles Davis, James Brown, Fela Kuti amongst others), electronic pioneer Kieran Hebden unleashes this electrifying record with adventurous and complex motifs in abundance. That element lives up to the style which Hebden has become accountable for, but the inclusion of Reid on percussion injects a more natural yet still hugely enthralling edge to the record! Throughout 2005 and 2006, Kieran Hebdon and Steve Reid were recording “The Exchange Sessions”. “Tongues” was also recorded during the sessions. Mark Rankin was on engineering duties.
