Write It On Your Skin

The recent album ‘Write It on Your Skin’ by Newton Faulkner was recorded in majority at our studio The Lightship. With Ben Phillips, the studio’s owner,  engineering throughout the time Newton spent there.

Newton told the NME  ”I have had such a good time making this record, whether it’s been in my studio in the middle of night when I can’t sleep or in Sam Farrar’s garage in LA or on Lightship95, which is a boat and I think might be my favourite studio in the world.”

The album was released back in July, but with the cold winter nights setting in, its the perfect accompaniment for a relaxed evening in by the fire.
