Studio A, like all the studios at Artistic Palace, has been carefully designed for new ways of collaborating and producing music. The acoustics, created by Christian Malcurt, are rich and controlled, and the studio is able to accommodate all types of music genres, from pop, rock, rap and classical. Comprising a 25m2 control room and 50m2 live room, the studio is perfect for medium-sized groups as well as string or brass sections of up to 15 people.
The studio's MCI 542 console is a legendary model that equipped most of the major American studios in the 1970s. It was on this console that "Hotel California" by the Eagles, "Back in Black" by AC/DC, "Imagine" by John Lennon, "I Shot the Sheriff" by Eric Clapton, most of the Bee Gees albums, as well as Talking Heads, Grace Jones, Rammstein, Rod Stewart, and many others were recorded. This particular unit belonged to Mark Ronson, and it was used for the recording of "Uptown Funk" ft. Bruno Mars.
The combination of a high-end digital system (Protools HDX) and analog equipment makes it a versatile room for live recording sessions, filming, or vocal tracking, and the studio also benefits from it's own dedicated lounge and kitchen (60m2).
