Elephant Office

Elephant Office is audacious project; from the ground up one of the best structured studios on the planet, and now one of the largest music recording complexes in the world. The complex is a giant "box of mirrors," housing a 3 storey mansion, 3 studio rooms and luxurious themed accommodation.

Studio A, the centrepiece, centres around a coveted SSL XL 9000K; one of 50 ever produced and believed to be the only one in Brazil. Flanking the console sits a pair of Augspurger 215Hs powered by Bryston and Crown amps, and the industry-revered ATC SCM25A Pros for the nearfield. The studio offers a host of top-level outboard that includes Neve, API and Telefunken Pres, 1176's, a CL 1B, Distressors, an LA-2A, Pultec EQs and a host of effects units.

The live room measures 50m2 and offers exemplary acoustics as well as DMX LED Strips, moving heads & strobes - alongside networked connections, HDMI and a 44-in tie line which altogether makes the space a perfect stage for live recordings, video productions, tour rehearsals and much more.

A further live room, Studio B, lies adjacent to the main studio, offering a completely different atmosphere. Doubling up as a lounge bar for the complex, Studio B offers a fantastic "Hard Rock Cafe" inspired aesthetic complete with surround sound, a smoke machine and DMX lighting which can provide an interesting secondary acoustic option or incredible backdrop for video or live shoots.
