Manhattan contains some of the world's greatest art museums, and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is one of them. "The most influential museum of modern art in the world" shows pieces by Monet, Picasso, Wyeth, Dali and many others. If you have an entire day to use this would be the place to do so.
The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long New York City linear park built in Manhattan on an elevated section of a disused New York Central Railroad spur called the West Side Line. It's a great spot to sit and relax, go for a walk above the traffic, and of course get some great photos!
This famous library is the fourth largest in the world, an iconic space you might recognise from many films and TV shows. It's a lovely place to escape from the busy Manhattan streets and take some time out to explore the rows of books and the building's rich history.
Naples-style handcrafted pizzas, pasta & panini, served with Italian wines, under the High Line.
Bar from Danny Meyer offering Southern-inspired cocktails & small bites in a handsome space.
From May to October this docked Coast Guard lightship is home to a vibrant bar scene.
Open in the summer, this roof lounge with a green-garden vibe serves chic cocktails & punch bowls.
