Migration Studios is an independent, residential recording complex set in the heart of the Cotswolds, celebrated for its impeccable design, rare analogue equipment, and deeply inspiring creative atmosphere. The site features a fully modernised five-bedroom Cotswold stone farmhouse, alongside two world-class recording studios: Studio 1, The Grain Barn, and Studio 2, The Log Store. Both studios benefit from natural light, offer exceptional acoustics, and are designed for immersive, boundary-pushing recording. The studios sit within a beautifully renovated farm, complemented by the site's distinctive, life-sized elephant sculptures.
Since opening, Migration Studios has hosted sessions for artists including Joy Crookes, Pa Salieu, Isabella Summers (Florence + The Machine), Becky Hill, Joy Anonymous, Joesef, Sainté and Wasia Project. The studios were also home to the recording of Elbow's 2024 album Audio Vertigo, which debuted at No.1 in the Official UK Charts.
"Migration engenders gentle creative introspection and is responsible for some of the happiest recording experiences in my 30 years as a recording artist."
— Guy Garvey, Elbow
