Plato Studios - Overview

Every element of Plato Studios is crafted to deliver exceptional sonic clarity and accuracy, ensuring that your project translates flawlessly across all playback systems.

On entering the studio you're greeted by a bright, open lounge and kitchen area that can double up as a co-working area or podcast space. In front of you sits the main studio, and to the left a small production and breakout studio, offering the ability to work on multiple projects or sections simultaneously.

The main control room is a fantastic sounding space thanks to it's Roger D'Arcy design and tuning by Nick Whittaker. Main monitoring is taken care of by a pair of Genelec 1038s, with Quested VS2108s for the nearfield. The studio runs off a Focusrite Clarett interface with Audient preamps, all connected via a thunderbolt dock to your computer.

Outboard options include a Drawmer 1960 valve compressor, TL Audio EQ1 and Roland Chorus Echo for vintage, tape delay effects.

The studio's main live room is a versatile, acoustically treated space with a neutral sound for vocals, instruments, and up to five musicians. Backline includes a '74 Twin Reverb, Princeton and several different guitar options to catering to any project.

The adjacent production room is designed for music production, sound design, and pre-mixing. With a seamless patch & visual connection to the Live Room and Main Control Room and ATC SM20 monitoring, it's the perfect space for songwriting, production and vocal recording.
