ⓢ² Mastering Studio

Welcome to ⓢ²: the main Mastering studio!

The floating ceiling pierced by skylight, white suspended walls, decoupled travertine floor and cherry wood diffusers offer an immersive modernist atmosphere inspired by the Van Der Rohe House. This powerful and celestial place has been designed to bring the final touch to your audio projects.

The cabin is equipped with what is often considered the Rolls Royce of monitoring, a pair of PMC MB2S XBD, brilliantly integrated by baltazarloret and julienravary from redhouseco.

The surgical acoustics of the room have been precisely calibrated to an RT 60 of 0.3s for a musical feeling, both wide and accurate. The frequency response at the sweet spot is ultra-linear, and in the client position, the lows are generous and enveloping while the highs are open and tilted.

Amid the cabin stands the centerpiece: the desk, that has been designed and crafted in North Carolina by BrettAcoustic. All the equipment is within arm's length: a maselec console and cranesong converters, two motorized avid S1s and their control iPad, and a sharp choice of analog gear. The ergonomics allow both mastering, mixing or producing in the most precise conditions ever obtained, without ever standing out of the sweet spot. A dedicated booth for recording completes this booth.

The audio is managed by a MTRX, then converted by Lynx Aurora(n) 32 i/o via a Dante network. The whole is wired with Gotham cables for analog and Belden for digital.
