Super Symmetry Studios

Super Symmetry understand that making music is about so much more than just technique and equipment. That's why they've made it their utmost priority to create an environment of comfort, safety and freedom for artists.

Located just between Hackney Wick and Bethnal Green, in what used to be a two-bedroom home and shop front, the complex sits right at the transition point from old to new, surrounded by historic and modernized neighbourhoods, home to one of the most diverse arrays of cultures, architecture and energies in the city.

East London is home and, since first finding this place in 2017, the team have been working continuously to create a studio space where you can feel at home as well, with all the facilities you could ever need including a kitchen, coffee machines and office spaces. With Victoria Park just a 5 minute walk away, you'll find cosy restaurants, shops, and cafés just around the corner, as well as some of the staff's favourite local pubs for post-session drinks and dinner.

It's Super Symmetry's mission to make sure that you have everything you could possibly need. The dedicated small team lives just above the studio, and will always be delighted to help or answer any questions at all times. Super Symmetry is a family affair, and they want you to feel a part of that family. They've invested all their love, time and energy in bringing this place to life. The music industry can be a competitive and pressure-heavy space at times, so it's time to make things simple, genuine and authentic on every possible level.

High-end equipment and acoustics

The Super Symmetry team dedicated over three years to developing our space and designing the perfect combination of concrete, wooden slats and professional acoustic hidden dampeners for the two studios, which both host bespoke handmade furniture and independent, fully silent A/C units.

On top of all the outboards and plugins you could ever need, each room is kitted out with a huge array of vintage synths, with a combination of original and retro-fitted parts, as well as the latest offerings by all modular synthesizer makers. Both studios offer SSL mixing desks, ATC monitors and high-end converters. A Dante audio system makes these the ideal combination for hosting large, complex recording projects, writing camps and residencies with simultaneous recording, writing and production in both rooms for up to 15 people.
