Tape Studio

Tape Studio is an exclusive London writing and production studio based in Mayfair.

Centred around the country's only PMC QB1 XBD monitoring system, everything about the control room is designed to impress.

The room was carefully designed around the gigantic PMCs with every care taken to ensure the acoustics complimented the monitoring perfectly.

The control room is spacious and comfortable, with a large chesterfield sofa running along two walls, providing ample space for producers and musicians to sit and listen to the incredible monitors.

There's a good-sized booth for any vocal overdubs, with visibility into the control room.

The studio also boasts the latest Pro Tools HDX system and Avid S3 control surface, along with a Grace Designs monitor controller for total sonic fidelity.

There are some choice pieces of outboard too, including a Lisson Grove compressor and Great River mic pres, while a valve Telefunken sits pretty in the vocal booth.

The studio is nestled in Tape Nightclub, a high-end an exclusive Mayfair nightclub that is also available to hrie for private functions. Producers have been known to finish a mix in the studio and immediately play it to the packed club next door!
