Makeover for Livingston

Miloco is busy purchasing some new gear to complement the outboard racks, mic selection and backline at Livingston Studio 1.

The change in equipment comes as Studio 1’s longtime resident producer moves stateside, so the studio will also be available for commercial sessions at the end of April.

Studio 1 is based around an SSL G Series, with loads of external mic pres, microphones and compressors. The studio also has a good selection of instruments, including a late 1960s Ludwig Hollywood kit, Ampeg B-15 bass amp and various guitar amps and keyboards.

Recording is carried out on a Pro Tools HDX rig using Pro Tools 11, or clients can use the CLASP system which is hooked up to the Studer A80.

Monitoring is through Barefoot MicroMain27s, NS-10s or Westlake Audio big monitors.
