Oxygen Recording Studios breezes into Miloco

Miloco’s global studio directory seems to be growing bigger as each week goes by, and this one is no exception thanks to the addition of Oxygen Recording Studios. Located on a tranquil hillside in the Piemonte region of northern Italy, Oxygen is a private residential recording studio created by producer/guitarist/owner Paride Lanciani.

The studio focuses on vintage and analog gear, with the heart of the studio formed by a really cool restored vintage Ghunter Loof console, which was produced in limited numbers from 1975-83. A Pro Tools Mix Plus digital system is already installed, and a Pro Tools HD rig can be hired additionally, but Oxygen’s signature sound is characterised by an AMPEX track tape recorder and ATR track machine for putting mixes down. An array of other vintage pieces of equipment and instruments are housed around the three recording spaces and control room, which are separated by thick glass doors.

Oxygen offers on site year-round accommodation for up to six in a converted greenhouse  in the garden, a short distance from the main house. It comes with a comfortable and large lounge with TV, hifi stereo, games, and a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, as well as a lovely garden – perfect for relaxing and al fresco dining during the warmer months. Even the decor gives off a vintage rock ‘n roll vibe we’re sure clients will love!

Paride and his team have worked to create a warm and inviting studio setting, where clients can be inspired, record but also relax. They will be able to record digitally or on tape, taking full advantage of the classic analogue sound Oxygen is known for. Check out Oxygen Recording Studios’ page here.
