Outside

In December of last year Nigerian artist Burna Boy gave us the first taste of his new project Outside in the form of ‘Sekkle Down‘, the album’s lead single featuring J Hus, UK urban music’s man of the moment (and regular Miloco client).

Burna Boy released the full Outside album on January 26, 2018 on Atlantic/Warner Music, and received widespread praise for his perfect fusion of Afrobeat, dancehall, and ‘road rap’. A brief appearance on Drake’s More Life album, earned the unofficial Nigerian music ambassador legions of new fans worldwide, who eagerly awaited the release of the new album, which we are happy to have been a part of.

Teaming up once again with engineer Jake Gordon, the album was mixed by Jake in our Bermondsey HQ mix studio, The Red Room London.
