Ash formed in 1992 in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland by Tim, Rick and Mark. As a 3-piece they released a mini-album, ‘Trailer’, which was followed by their celebrated debut album, ‘1977’. In 1997 they were joined by Charlotte, and recorded the title track to the film ‘A Life Less Ordinary’, and their second full-length record, ‘Nu-Clear Sounds’. 2004 saw them release the acclaimed ‘Meltdown’.

Ash have been at Miloco on a few occassions. In March 2003 They were in The Garden Studios with Graeme Stewart engineering and producing and in 2004 the band were back with Matt Hyde in The Engine Room mixing a live album for East West Records.
