The King Blues

In 2008 The King Blues set about reviving London ska-punk. Moving into The Square with producer Clive Langer and engineer Finn Eiles, they made their debut major album, and then played shining slots at Reading and Leeds, Wembley Arena and Blackpool’s Rebellion festival. They won Radio One’s best punk song of 2006 with the track ‘Mr Music Man’ and at one point apparently broke denim 12-bar blues stalwarts Status Quo’s “record” of most gigs played in a 24 hour period – however vague that claim may be.
