Captain formed in London in 2005. They soon picked up a following through regular appearances on late night Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, and had a hit with the track Frontline in December 2005 with At Large Recordings. Frontline was re-released under EMI eleven months later, around the same time as the release of debut album This Is Hazelville.
Captain were tracking a single in The Garden in December 2006 with engineer Finn Eiles.
