Before the days of The Vaccines, Justin Young once masqueraded under the name of Jay Jay Pistolet (with a Gallic pronouciation…) and in 2008 enjoyed a cult status amongst other such London folkies as Kid Harpoon, Emmy The Great and Noah and the Whale. He nipped in for a summer Weekend’s recording in The Pool with engineer Mark Rankin.
