Mattafix

The Mattafix boys, a.k.a Preetesh and Marlon, have a distinctive, unique and refreshing sound falling somewhere between the genres of hip-hop and soul. They signed to the Buddhist Punk label in 2005 and released their debut album ‘Big City Life’ in August 2005.

Mattafix came to Miloco in 2004 to work on new material, which resulted in them getting a deal with Buddhist Punk. They returned in 2005 to The Toyshop to work on their debut single. The single was mixed in The Engine Room with the aid of engineer Ben Thackeray.
